I'll be honest with you, I struggled to give this pendant a proper name. It has such an interesting style that I feel it deserves a fitting name. However, it is so unusual that I am unable to associate the design with anything familiar. After staring at this pendant for a while I went back and forth on what it looks like. At first glance, it clearly has Southwestern styling. However, it also reminds me of some sort of sci-fi spaceship. Finally, I settled on the term "structure" because it looks like a building with a tunnel. I think this is a testament to the creative artisticness of David Rosales. Sometimes his Native American jewelry does not represent something entirely obvious (unless I am clearly missing something in this case) but it can be open to audience interpretation, much like other artwork. Whatever this pendant reminds you of, whether it be a building, a spaceship, or something else entirely, you have to credit David Rosales for its creativity.
David Rosales is known for his stunning inlaid Native American jewelry with different color collections. This is the Shalako Collection with turquoise, sugilite, and cultured opal. These colors work really well together and give some extra panache to your typical turquoise jewelry. The purple sugilite and bright opal really bring a lot of life to this Native American jewelry. You are sure to love these colors!
This pendant is 1 1/2" from the top jump ring to the bottom. The bail, which is difficult to measure, adds a little extra length here as well. This is 3/4" wide which makes this a nice casual size. The bail is inlaid with stones as well, which is a great added feature. The chain that you see pictured is not included. Please contact us if you would like to add a sterling silver chain. Also, please allow four to six weeks for delivery. Because this is handcrafted Native American jewelry it does take some time to make for you.
